Famous 5 go on an adventure!

We met at Tia Bia at 10 then drove to our starting point at Feiteira . The group photo was taken by Alan that’s why there is only 4 of us - Rafa woof, woof is one of the 5!  Martin Alan Gill and Jim :

Then we were off on our adventure....down a track then a left turn that was not signposted, but Jim remembered from an earlier recce, so far so good.

Flowers were the main subject of conversation , absolutely beautiful, a tapestry of colours everywhere.

Lots of ups and downs took us to our lunch spot, a scenic river with stepping stones and a bridge. Rafa went to cool his paws and Jim was dared to walk the stepping stones!

Kept us amused, fall in? Nearly, nearly!

After lunch the only way was up and up and up, until we hit the road that took us through Parizes:

Then a long down to another bigger bit of water, this part of the walk was new and not part of the VA . Just say very refreshing, Alan and Martin, unprepared, boots full of water!

Then light rain began to fall and another never ending uphill, until eventually we hit the road home to the cars .

Pace 4 km a hour ! Not bad as the ups were all proper ups!
